Bulfinch Cos. announced it has signed a long-term lease with Harvard University, at 784 Memorial Drive, in Cambridge, Mass.
The prestigious teaching institution plans to relocate its Information Technology Services Department, which will occupy the entire 63,200-square-foot property. Located on Memorial Drive, the four-story office and laboratory building offers expansive views of the Charles River, as well Boston’s Back Bay, and Harvard’s Allston and Cambridge campuses.
The 80-year-old building has been excellently maintained and encompasses Class A Cambridge office space, complete with “superior modern infrastructure designed to support high performance operations,” according to Mike Wilcox, Bulfinch director of leasing.
Originally built in 1937, the property was previously occupied by the Polaroid Corp., and subsequently by Infinity Pharmaceuticals. With superior connectivity (easy access to the Mass Pike and Storrow Drive), 784 Memorial Drive continues to be a thriving center of innovation.
