Business advisory and investment banking firm Chesapeake Corporate Advisors agreed to a 5,283-square-foot lease at 1001 Fleet Street, in Baltimore’s Harbor East neighborhood. The nine-story, 270,000-square-foot mixed-use property managed by Harbor East Management Group features roughly 163,000 of Class A Baltimore office space.
Joe Bradley, Senior Vice President, and Principal for MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services brokered the deal on behalf of the tenant, while Brian Wyatt of Cushman & Wakefield represented the Harbor East Management during the negotiations. Office asking rents in the neighborhood average about $35 per square foot.
It is anticipated that Chesapeake Corporate Advisors will move its operations and more than 20 of its employees from the current premises at Brewer’s Hill – located at 3600 O’Donnell Street – to their new location by December. The owner of 1001 Fleet is Beatty Development Group – an affiliate of Harbor East Management Group. The building was completed in 2001.
