CIM Group announces Serendipity Labs as the first tenant at its newly remodeled L&C Tower Complex in Nashville, Tenn.
Rye, N.Y.-based Serendipity Labs Coworking Inc. offers upscale workplace experience for mobile professionals, independent workers and project teams, on a members-only basis.
CEO of Memphis, Tenn.-based Maximum Hospitality Dan McEwan is the franchise owner of this coworking hub. McEwan has exclusive development rights for Serendipity labs in the Nashville office market and plans to open five labs in the wider metro area.
As the first one is slated to open this August, Serendipity members will enjoy dedicated facilities in the approximately 15,000 square feet of office space leased at 159 4th Avenue North. Encompassing a portion of the first floor and the entire second floor of Life and Casualty Tower’s adjoining nine-story annex, McEwan’s first Lab will offer a work lounge, team rooms, private offices, a café and event space. There will be a full schedule of programming, meetups and seminars and the space may be reserved for offsite and evening events.
Since taking ownership of Nashville’s first skyscraper and its adjacent nine-story building in 2015, CIM Group has undertaken comprehensive renovation of both structures.
New tenant amenities and upgrades to the exterior and lobby of the 30-story, 272,000-square-foot tower at 401 Church Street are nearly complete. CIM is updating the streetscape with decorative planters and new shade trees closer to the street, as well as expanding the pedestrian walkway with terrazzo paving around the building’s perimeter on Forth and Church Streets.
The adjoining 94,000-square-foot, nine-story annex renovations include a remodel of the lobby, upgrades to elevator cabs and common areas, covered bike storage, a tenant amenity gym and exterior streetscape improvements, which include outdoor seating for a new coffee shop.
