American multinational law firm Holland & Knight has renewed its lease at 701 Brickell. The company will hold the same footprint (roughly 121,000 square feet spread across six floors) within the Nuveen Real Estate-owned Miami office building. A Cushman & Wakefield team comprised of Brian Gale and Edward Quinon represented the landlord, while CBRE’s Todd Lippman and Shay Pope negotiated the deal on behalf of the tenant.

Cushman & Wakefield have been securing lease deals for 701 Brickell since April 2019. However, last year was particularly successful with nine agreements reached for a total of 71,292 square feet of office. Aon, EFG Capital and Blackrock likewise renewed their commitments with Nuveen, while Point72 Asset Management and Apollo Global Management also signed new deals at the 685,835-square-foot building. Currently, the property is 96% occupied.
Built in 1985 and recently subject to an award-winning renovation, 701 Brickell is a LEED Gold-Certified and Energy Star-labeled building. The property features a newly renovated lobby, a conference facility, a fitness center and covered parking. In addition to stunning views, the building also boasts various on-site retail establishments.
