Cabinet supplier CVC Distribution has secured a new industrial space in Chantilly, Va. The company signed a lease for 34,567 square feet at 3931 Avion Park Court, marking its first location in the Washington, D.C. market.
The lease was facilitated by KLNB Principal, Scott Rabin, who has represented Daata Partners, the landlord, for more than 25 years.
“This long-standing relationship we’ve established with Daata Partners is a perfect example of how we build partnerships at KLNB,” Rabin said. “The trust that they have in our expertise and knowledge of the market is why they continue to turn to us to secure high-quality tenants that become long-term occupants.”
While data centers often dominate the conversation about industrial development in northern Virginia, the market for warehouse and logistics space remains robust: According to a KLNB report, the region’s industrial vacancy rate is a low 4.4% with asking rents averaging $15.60 per square foot annually — nearly double the national average. And, despite a slight cooling from post-pandemic highs, demand for industrial space in northern Virginia remains strong with nearly three-quarters of a million square feet under construction.
CVC Distribution’s new lease highlights the continued growth and demand for industrial space in the region. The company’s expansion into northern Virginia also underscores the area’s attractiveness as a strategic location for businesses seeking access to the thriving D.C., Maryland and Virginia markets.
