Hines, a privately-held real estate firm, has placed the last concrete beam atop The Offices at Chandler Viridian. Upon completion, scheduled for November 2018—per Yardi Matrix data—the six-story mid-rise will be the tallest multi-tenant office building in Chandler, Ariz.
“Hines has seen the tremendous value in this premier site near the Chandler Fashion Center and Price Road Corridor since day one. The Offices at Chandler Viridian has generated significant interest from leading-edge companies across several business sectors,” Chris Anderson, managing director & Arizona leader for Hines, said in a statement.
The 248,700-square-foot, Class A spec building has already attracted its first tenant, Stantec. The international engineering services provider recently entered a long-term, 55,000-square-foot lease set to start at the beginning of 2019, Yardi Matrix data reveals.
The mid-rise at 3133 West Frye Road features an open-floor plan, complete with a lounge and a large courtyard. Tenants will also benefit from a multi-level parking structure with an above-average, 6-per-1,000-square-feet parking ratio.
This LEED-proposed building is the highlight of a larger mixed-use project in the Twelve Oaks neighborhood that spreads across a 25-acre site located at the intersection of Loop 101 and Loop 202. The office center is part of the Chandler Viridian development, which includes a five-story Cambria hotel & suites, the Broadstone Fashion Center luxury apartments, a retail area encompassing up to 24,000 square feet, and a pedestrian promenade leading to the nearby mall. The master plan also features a dog park, a jogging trail, as well as a public plaza outfitted with high-speed Internet and Wi-Fi connections.
