Premier Workspaces recently opened a new coworking space in Los Angeles’ Century City, signing a 10-year lease with the Irvine Company for 14,500 square feet at the iconic 2121 Avenue of the Stars (formerly Fox Plaza). The new office space will be shared with the Irvine Company, marking the 10th such arrangement between the two firms.
The new Premier Workspaces location features 55 adaptable private offices, fully equipped meeting rooms and a communal kitchen. Meanwhile, arrangements include virtual office options and an admin support team, as well as access to the building’s Kinetic fitness center, EV charging stations and shuttle service to Westfield Century City. Plus, with a location just a couple of blocks off Santa Monica Boulevard, the area also provides a variety of retail and dining options.
Housed in the same building that starred in the first “Die Hard” film as the Nokotami Plaza, the new flex workspace will be on the 8th floor of the 34-story high-rise that was constructed in 1986 and designed by acclaimed architects Johnson, Fain & Pereira.
With this new location — plus the recently opened office space in Concord, Calif. — Premier Workspaces now claims 43 sites in California alone. Moreover, nationally, the operator is set for further expansion beyond the West Coast with a new center anticipated to open soon in downtown St. Louis. That will bring together a total of 88 locations for the largest coworking firm to operate exclusively in the U.S. Additionally, with this new address in West LA, Premier Workspaces also marks another step in its plan that was announced in 2021 — to add 100 managed shared office spaces to its portfolio.
LA Realty Partners’ Gary Weiss represented Premier Workspaces, while Rick Buckley of the same firm represented the Irvine Company.
