THRIVE | Coworking — a flexible workspace operator that aims to provide support and work alongside the communities it’s embedded in — has announced the opening of its new facility in Cumming, Ga., part of the wider Atlanta metropolitan area. Located at 2100 Westshore Drive, the workspace is scheduled for completion by mid-year.
“Many professionals have enjoyed working from home, but the distractions of a home office have more wanting to return to an office — one that is close by,” said THRIVE | Coworking Chief Revenue Officer, Chris Smith. “THRIVE | Cumming offers an alternative to a commute to Atlanta, with all the amenities of a lively, walkable business district.”
The workspace will be part of a mixed-use “live, work, play”-focused project called Westshore. Development plans include the addition of a variety of restaurants, shops, parks and homes to the area, thereby providing residents and those working here with easy access to Lake Lanier in the North Georgia Mountains.
In terms of amenities, the Cumming location will have free coffee, tea, and snacks on offer, as well as monthly breakfasts, lunches, and happy hours, supplemented by a wide range of events and activities. There are also several monthly membership levels to choose from, from a basic Mailbox where a business mailing address is needed; to Shared or Dedicated space; to Private Offices; as well as conference rooms for meetings and events.
Additionally, members automatically gain access to other workspaces within the THRIVE network. Most of the company’s current locations are peppered across the Southeast and Midwest (in Alabama, Georgia, Montana, Ohio, North Carolina and South Carolina), as well as outside the U.S. through reciprocal use of LExC coworking spaces.
